She licked Daniels face. Kelsie is a kelpie.A cute kelpie. Mr Liddell came to, he walked Kelsie around and gave some people treats for kelie to eat.

In pot of gold we have been asking questions about land forming. We have been trying to answer our questions to find more about what we don't know about land forming.there are a lot of exciting things we have been learning lots of thing that we didn't know.

Mc Donald lunch

Today we payed for our Mc Donald's lunch.What we can order for Mc Donald lunch is cheese burger ham burger 3 nuggets Big Mac mc chicken 6 nuggets juice or water and an apple bag but no chips.We have this once a Year and we have pizza kfc subway American hotdogs pita pat.

How was the Manawatu gorge formed

We have been doing an inquiry about how the Manawatu gorge was formed and this is our class shared writing from the research we found about the gorge and how it was formed.

Our beautiful Manawatu gorge has a history.The Manawatu river ,which flows between the tararua and ruahine ranges ,is one of only two rivers in the world tht starts from one side of a mountain range and reaches sea on the other side.the rangitane people tell of a spirit named okatia who created the gorge by smashing through a rock wall as he traveled in a gigantic totara on. His way to the sea.After his tantrum, he slowly meandered across the Manawatu plain creating the lazy river we see today.Scientists tell us that the gorge began to be formed 1.5 million years ago.As the mountains rose up due to tectonic forces the river eroded a gap that came to be called the Manawatu.

Main points in pot of golds learning

In pot of golds learning we have been finding the main points in shared reading like nursery rhymes and myths about Stewart Island/rakiura and the two whales one called kiwa.We find main points in paragraphs most of the time and they are important because it makes us understan the story more and tells a little summary.

Block judging

In the block judging pot of gold won two prizes one was a game of snakes and and ladders and the other was Rubik's cube. We also won two trophys one was gold one was silver. For the  challenge price we got a person that was shaped as a seven and photos people from room seven because it was from room seven. Why we should go to camp each year

Mr Smith announced that Mr Kennedy was thinking of not having camp ever again for us kids .So we are going to try and persuade Mr Kennedy by writing him a letter of how we learn and not just have fun at camp we use team work eg. In our cabins in the team challenges and we use persistence eg. In the team challenges (again) We love going to camp though we have only been once.

Buddy class

Today our buddy class Rm19 came over to our class with a problem.They had to follow instructions on how to make a paper plane but they are only allow to do it by themselves, so we had to instruction them on what to do.

Block Judging

Today room 12&13 are getting ready for block judging!

We are cleaning,tiding and finishing,we are all trying to win but at the same time it's where we come to learn so it always has to be looking great! In week 3 we were the only class ready for judging ,so all classes got 3 more weeks to get ready. Fingers crossed!
